10 Days and Busy Busy Bizzzyy!

Hi guys!
Well, it's been 10 long days since my last update here but I'm back and ready to go.
Part of this due to my other demanding job at  http://www.thefontdiva.com.

I've been reading up on some books these past couple of days and I'm hoping to have a review up this next week on a very special book :)

On another note - My book release date is now confirmed (as shown in the cover reveal) as being MAY 1!  HOORAY!

I've got a great book blitz coming up hosted by the fabulous Bookish Brunette, as well as....

*DRUM ROLL*

I've been actually writing my SEQUEL to COLOR KEEPERS!

OMG!

I know, some of you may not understand why this is such a huge deal, but it's taken me such a long time to get to it. I've kept putting it off and putting it off, writers block big time and then just plain laziness! FINALLY though, I have gotten my lazy hands up and onto my keyboard!

I'm hoping to have it done by Nov of this year and out and ready by Christmas :) That would be ideal.

Well, I hope all of you have a fantastic weekend. In the meantime, please enjoy reading a snippet from my upcoming book "The Color Keepers"

The Color Keepers

The closer we got the more dangerous everything seemed to get.  I could see crows circling the overhead of the castle and lightning struck the tallest tower.  "Emily, we're going to have to figure a way in.”

"I agree.  I mean, I can't go knocking on the door like the Avon lady."  He chuckled and nodded his head in agreement.  "The closer we get, the better we'll see the architecture of the building.  Maybe there's another door."
He started up the motor again and we started our way up the black winding road.  I looked back and the city lights were blurry and fuzzy.  You could barely see them through the thick dark fog that surrounded us.

Halfway up the road, a very familiar crow darted from the sky.  It crowed and landed on our handlebars.  "Well, just the two I'm looking for.  Her Majesty is going to be very pleased with me.”  Sam stared into his eyes and the bird's eyes became a crimson red.  I decided to try reasoning.  "You're Damien, right?"  The crow darted its eyes towards me and started to cackle.  "Yes I am, very good memory, Lady Emily."  "Damien, just let us pass."  He started to cackle again and stepped back to stare at both of us.  "I don't think so."
